About Me:


  • Started doing Neurofeedback in 2003.
  • Achieved board certified in Neurofeedback in 2006 through the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA).
    • BCIA is the only institute recognized worldwide granting certification to biofeedback practitioners.
    • Certification demonstrates professionalism and adherence to carefully developed standards as a health care provider.
  • Full time faculty member in the Master of Arts in Counseling Program at Colorado Christian University in Lakewood for 5 years.
  • Director of the Counseling Program at CCU for three years.
  • Helped the program achieve CACREP accreditation, the highest standard in Counseling accreditation.


  • Master’s Degree in Communication from the University of South Florida.
  • Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Regent University.
  • Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from William & Mary the College of Mary.
  • Regularly attend trainings to improve my skills and stay current in the field.
  • Regularly attend conferences held by the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback (AAPB) and the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research (ISNR).


  • First licensed as a professional counselor in the state of Virginia in 2007.
  • Became licensed in Colorado in 2009 with the Department of Regulatory Agencies– LPC #5243.
  • BCIA mentor and supervisor since 2010.
  • Completed qualifications to teach the didactic course for Board certification in Neurofeedback in 2016.
  • Received weekly mentoring from Jay Gunkelman, QEEG-D, since November of 2014.
  • Will complete QEEG certification in 2017.
  • Have always had a passion to train students and other practitioners in Neurofeedback so that there are more ethical and skilled therapists providing these services. As of 2017, I have provided hands-on training to 15 interns and therapists in Colorado.

  • I talk to clients clearly and directly about what Neurofeedback can realistically offer based on the research and my experience.
  • I offer free consultations to determine if individuals are good candidates for Neurofeedback therapy at the present time.

  • I care deeply about people and get very excited about the potential of Neurotherapy to help adults and children improve their lives.
