Ruth Setlak MSW, LSW

Ruth is a social worker (LSW) who specializes in working with infants, children/families, tween/teens, and adults who may struggle with developmental challenges, sensory processing disorder, and developmental trauma. Ruth’s education and training has focused around child development, child/parent attachment, developmental disorders ( Autism, Aspergers, ADHD), sensory and regulatory processing disorders, adoption/developmental trauma, PTSD, and medical disorders (PANDAS/PANS, autoimmunity, lyme disease, gut issues, etc).

She is certified in the DIR/Floortime method of play and is also Level 2 trained in EMDR. She effectively uses EMDR with both children and adults. Ruth is a member of the NASW (National Association of Social Workers), EMDRIA (EMDR International Association), Profectum (DIR/Floortime Organization), and the CoAIMH (Colorado Association for Infant Mental Health). Ruth believes in building healthy relationships as a framework for healing and growth.
